TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
