Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
